This month begins with the heavy emphasis of intense Scorpio. The Sun, Mercury and the New Moon are all in this deep and often misunderstood sign. Planets in Scorpio understand the dark undercurrents of any situation, but what has occurred lately has been so intense, it leaves us all feeling paranoid, not purged.
Mars moves into high-minded Aquarius on the November 8th, where he remains until December 19th. This post is being written one week prior to the election so the results are still unknown, but this sign switch for Mars is an unmistakable signal that whoever wins this election will be taking the US into a new and/or surprising direction. As a result, goals and actions will have more to do with group and humanitarian-related endeavors. Yes, it may mean some tough clean-up work, but Mars has the fortitude to do it.
On November 11th Venus moves into Capricorn where business is the focus now and romance will take a backseat. If you are making time for love this month, you'll want to proceed with caution and have a responsible approach in partnership.
The Full Moon in Taurus on November 14th brings a financial matter to completion; while the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 29th will help you expand your horizons. Having faith in your dreams is important but you need to temper it with a healthy dose of realism.
The Sun enters fiery Sagittarius on Nov. 21st and releases us from some of the intensity generated by Scorpio’s vibes. After a period of facing fears, soul searching and dealing with powerful emotions, we’re now in the mood for adventure. This transit prompts us all to go beyond our garden gate into unknown territory to see what we can learn from our experiences with the unfamiliar. It’s time to broaden our horizons and stretch our perception of what we think is truly possible.
Happening right around Thanksgiving, we have a Jupiter-Pluto square. It is supposed to bring justice and regeneration, but changes might come with convulsions and excess. This is a tense aspect and their inharmonious combination could stir things up and create tensions around topics like: the fight for supremacy, abuse, persecution brutality and bankruptcy. The configuration is extremely motivating and could trigger in-depth change for the long run. It could also trigger the reconfiguration of the balance of power when it comes to politics, economy, banks and law. On a personal level, use your best diplomatic skills today or Thanksgiving dinner is going to be a battlefield. This difficult square shuns moderation and thinks nothing of squandering hard-earned gains. With the tendency in the air to overdo or be overbearing, PATIENCE and SELF –CONTROL are words to live by.
Hopefully the sigh of relief will come from the Venus, Jupiter and Saturn’s energetic trio holding steady the following weeks. That means if our pragmatism and self-discipline (Saturn), our sense of forgiveness and fair-play (Jupiter) and our desire to “make love not war” (Venus), all coincide, we’ll find a way even through the darkest moments.
