Virgo, a mutable (flexible) earth (stable) sign, ruled by Mercury and symbolized by the Virgin is the zodiac sign associated with work. Everyday work, not the ambitious 10th house aspect of your life’s purpose. Virgo oversees the 6th house of the natal chart, associated with all those mundane chores that fill up a large portion of our day. All kind of work falls within Virgo's domain – it’s what we must do each day to make life work. We are looking at energy that is practical, analytical, dependable and adaptable. In Cancer, the Sun's focus was inward, now in Leo it's all about self-expression and creativity. Since the Sun is Leo's native ruler, the Sun is dignified in this sign.  You can expect the motivation of the next four weeks to be about personal forms of creativity and style.  Now is the time to take a risk, using Leo's courage to do so. While the Sun is in Leo, be generous of your time and self. Let the Sun's warmth help ease your worries. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. It is our job to continue seeking for it and walking towards it. Be confident as you walk your path. Be mindful of keeping the goal in sight and knowing when it's time to tweak the plans and make changes in order complete the tasks at hand. Flexibility is important, as Leo is a fixed sign and the ego can get in the way of progress and growth.  However, we must also be careful not to indulge in the darker aspects, such as pride, arrogance, stubbornness and vanity.

The Sun moves into cozy Cancer on June 21, 2015, which also marks the Summer Solstice. When the Sun is as far north from the equator as it gets, it crosses the Tropic of Cancer and it is the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. Ruled by the Moon, a Water sign, Cancer tends to the extremes of sentimentality and of being territorial. While the Sun moves through Cancer our focus is on home and family matters. Now is the time to have that family get together and barbecue. In Cancer, the Sun is more reserved, sensitive, somewhat shy and intuitive. The Sun's life-giving warm rays are more focused on the inner workings of the self; who we are, what we desire, who/what motivates all rooted at our hearts and the emotional side of the self. The cardinal sign of Cancer represents our roots, our family, the past, the home and our emotions. We are reminded of our roots and to connect/re-connect with family, biological or otherwise.  We are feeling life very deeply now so say what you need to say to clear the air and get relationships back on track. We have an help with this task since Neptune has been Retrograde since June 12th and can help clear away some of that relationship debris. Sun enters Gemini

Sun enters Gemini - May 21^st to June 21^st

Normally, when the Sun enters Gemini, the energy shifts to light and airy.  But the Sun amplifies what it touches, so the already chaotic energy in place with Mercury Retrograde in Gemini as well, will make it hard to take advantage of the positive side.  While this is the time to stretch yourself socially and intellectually, be cautious as to not put too much on your plate.  And the downside here is Gemini's energy can cause a lack of focus and a tendency toward superficiality.  Gemini is also restless, preferring to do 20 fantastic things at once instead of focusing on just one. All of this unfocused energy can make Gemini seem scattered and fail to finish what they start. Make a plan and stick to it. Adding Mars in Gemini to the mix can leave you exhausted and more than a little bit frustrated at yourself so take care not to fall into this trap. Also, with Mars in Gemini, you'll have a strengthened ability to communicate. But watch out. When you're angry you'll also have an indomitable capacity to use your words as a weapon.

On April 20th the Sun moved from fiery, get moving Aries Sun, into the pleasure days of Taurus. What naturally arises from Aries is the need for the new seeds that have been planted, to now take root.
